One point to check on the MK8: the driver’s seat on the MK8 GTI/R includes an adjustable lumbar and integrated seat belt guide anchor in the seat frame on some configurations. Removing the standard seat disconnects the seat belt pretensioner from the passenger seat belt buckle, so confirm the wiring implications for your specific car before ordering, particularly on GTI Clubsport and Performance Pack cars.
